Miralem Pjanic will reportedly sign a new Juventus contract worth €7m per year, holding him to the club until June 2022.

According to Mediaset Premium, the paperwork was drawn up today and will be signed on Thursday.

It only adds one year to his current deal, but there is a significant increase in his salary.

He’ll go from earning €4.5m per year to €7m, putting Pjanic on a par with teammate Paulo Dybala.

They are all dwarfed by Cristiano Ronaldo’s reported €30m per year wages.

The Bosnia-Herzegovina international arrived in 2016 when Juve activated the €32m release clause in his Roma contract.

Now 28, Pjanic is at the peak of his powers and attracted interest from Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
