The capital outfit did go through a rough spell when losing three out of four games, but they’ve responded with two successive wins.

The last of those came on Sunday when Pjanic, a summer signing from Lyon, grabbed his first goal for the club in a 2-1 triumph versus Lecce.

“Our minimum target is to finish in third in order to take part in next season’s Champions League,” he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“And I hope to contribute to that objective by scoring as many goals as possible for the side during this term.”

Pjanic, an attacking midfielder, is still just 21-years-old and is a full Bosnian international.

“It has been a difficult week for me after my country was knocked out of Euro 2012, but I’m looking to the future now,” he added.
