Juventus are trailing Inter at the top, with the pressure mounting on Maurizio Sarri, and Pjanic believes his side need to “find balance” going forward.

“Sometimes it happens that we can’t secure the three points, even if it shouldn’t,” the midfielder said at a press conference.

“We’ve had a good journey up until now. We can’t be negative. We need to find balance. It’s not easy to always be brilliant.

“We have spoken as a team and hopefully, we will see the results on the pitch.”

He then brushed off suggestions about the Bianconeri prioritising the Champions League over the Scudetto this season.

“We trust Sarri. We are a united team. The results were good, but the manager wants more: we still have a lot more potential to express.

“We want to win the League and we have to do more.”

Juventus are already through to the knockout stages of the Champions League, but Pjanic wants to end the group stage on a high against Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday.

“We prepare for each match as it comes. We want to win tomorrow to prepare for the League better.

“Bayer Leverkusen are a good team and it won’t be easy, but we are prepared. We always want to win.”
