Miralem Pjanic reveals Edin Dzeko was “very motivated about coming to Roma and can’t wait to play with us.”
The two Bosnia internationals will be reunited in the Giallorossi jersey once Dzeko’s transfer from Manchester City is complete.
“Dzeko was very motivated about coming here and can’t wait to play with us,” Pjanic told Roma TV.
“He is so happy and will give us a big hand this season. Competition for places is purely positive, as we are in so many different tournaments.

Roma impressed with a spectacular 3-1 victory away to Valencia on Saturday, with goals from Francesco Totti, Gervinho and debutant Mohamed Salah.
“You could tell we were physically stronger than in recent outings and we wanted to rediscover that style of football we had lost over the last six months.
“We ran some risks and tried to play our game, doing it well. Of course we can do better, but I think the match was very positive against a tough opponent.
“It’s a pleasure to take risks and gamble. We recaptured that feeling and the team had fun on the field.”
