Miralem Pjanic admitted that he had heard criticism of his performances since joining Juventus this summer, but 'it's just part of football'.

The Bosnian was highly praised for his contribution to his side's 3-1 victory over Atalanta after he was deployed further forward by Coach Massimiliano Allegri.

"It is not a matter of role and position on the pitch, because at Roma I played as a mezzala for five years," Pjanic told Tuttosport. "But here it’s a different kind of game and I'm getting used to it.

"It is not a matter of role and position on the pitch, because at Roma I played as a mezzala for five years," Pjanic told Tuttosport. "But here it’s a different kind of game and I'm getting used to it.

"In Rome there were more short passes and a lot more possession of the ball, here they play more vertical passes.

"The Coach and my teammates are giving me confidence. The integration into the team is taking longer than I thought and longer than I’d hoped, but I remain calm and serene.

"The important thing is that Juve win, then my qualities will come out, I know what I can give.

"I heard the comments, although I do not need to be criticised in order to know if I played well or badly.

"Juventus are a very demanding club and I'm here to improve. I wanted this reality, the titles, and the challenges that go with it.

"Criticisms come and go, they are part of football."
