Roma’s Miralem Pjanic has mused on how Barcelona ‘are a good destination’ and how PSG ‘are doing something interesting’.

The creative midfielder has spent a majority of this season with the Giallorossi listed in transfer rumours as an apparent target of PSG in particular.

Whilst contract talks with the capital club reportedly continue, the 24-year-old has fuelled speculation heading into the summer, with positive words on both the Parisiens and La Liga side Barcelona.

“With so many good players it would be easy to be understood in the field,” commented Pjanic this week on the Catalans to La Mi-Temps de Sidney.

“With their style of play, like in Rome with Rudi Garcia, I would adapt very well.

“And there I would be able to demonstrate the best of my abilities. It is not a bad destination, either as a city or as a climate.

“Paris Saint-Germain is a good team, it is amazing what they are doing. I do not forget that my debut with Metz was against them.

“No-one knows what the future may hold, certainly now PSG are doing something very interesting.

“It is a club that is preparing to win the Champions League and that will be one of the 10 best teams in Europe. And for a player it is important to win titles.”

However, for these words, Pjanic also qualified his current respect towards Roma fans.

“Roma fans are really nothing like those in France. They live for their club, every day speak only of their team and I like that.

“It’s the same passion that exists in my country. Winning a title here is like winning 10 in Milan or Juventus. And I really, really want to experience all this…”
