“I am thoroughly convinced I made the right choice,” said Italy international Pirlo.
“If I am here then it is to win and this is why I think I made the right decision. This year has to be a turning point for the club, which must return to its former glory. I also wanted a change.
“We have to forget the past and begin again with great enthusiasm. At the end of the day hard work pays off and I'm convinced we'll achieve great things.”
Pirlo also commented on the transfer speculation around the Bianconeri, including the likes of Sergio Aguero and Giuseppe Rossi.
“We know Juventus want to sign a top class striker, so will wait to see what happens in the next few days. I don't mind which one is picked, as long as strong players come to the club.”
