According to Sky Sport Italia, Milan coach Stefano Pioli offered a dinner to his players and directors to celebrate his contract extension with the club.

The Italian tactician signed a new one-year deal with the Rossoneri at the end of November. The deal comes with an option to extend for a further season.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Pioli celebrated his new deal with a team dinner in a restaurant in Milan last night.

Directors Ivan Gazidis, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara also attended the dinner along with staff members with Pioli paying the bill.

The Rossoneri sit second in the Serie A table, one point off table leaders Inter.

However, they’ve been eliminated from the Champions League, collecting four points in six games in the group stage.

They will face Napoli and Empoli in the last two matches of 2021, while the first game of the new year will be at San Siro against José Mourinho’s Roma.
