The Rossoneri are the Serie A table leaders and have won two games from two in Europa League.

"Our goal is to always lead the games. We want to be proactive. We are a young team, but also mature in the way we stay on the pitch,” the Italian coach said at a press conference.

"We know we’ve had a lot of games these days. Tomorrow we have an important match against a strong team, we are focused only on continuing our course to the best."

The Serie A giants are due to face Ligue 1 side Lille in Europa League tomorrow.

“We are working well together. We started a journey but we are only at the beginning.

“I’ve always believed in my boys. We try to win everytime, but we’re just at the beginning. We are like those who have just started to dig a well to find the water, we want to find the spring but it is still far and it is necessary to work a lot more.”

Pioli announced he will make changes to the team’s starting XI.

"Tonight’s training will be important,” he said.

“There will be rotations, because we need energies and freshness from the mental and physical point of view.”

The Rossoneri have still plenty of room for improvement, Pioli believes.

"We must become more precise from the technical point of view and with the choices in the final third.

“We are doing very well when we attack the depth, but we have to be more precise and make the right choices to be more dangerous.

“Balance has always been our strength,” Pioli added.

“We know that we can still improve a lot, the opponents are always prepared, we can not change our attitude.

“We are young, we have not won anything and therefore we still have much to do.”

The Italian tactician did also praise Milan’s newcomers Diogo Dalot and Brahim Diaz.

"They were signed for their qualities and we are pleased that they were immediately ready.

“They quickly understood our mechanisms, they are young but with great desire and ambition. As for their future, there are other people who are in charge to think about it.”

Both players joined the Rossoneri on loan last summer but according to reports in Italy Milan want to sign both on a permanent deal in the future or, at least, try to include an option to buy in the deal.
