“I listen to the advice from my club that asked me to focus on our job and our goals. We’ll evaluate what happens in the future. This is not the right time to talk about it,” Pioli said when asked about the new competition during his press conference ahead of tomorrow's Serie A clash against Sassuolo.
A journalist asked what’s Milan’s target now and the point of the last seven games of the season, considering the Super League.
“Milan have never finished top four in the last few years. It would be an important target for us that would prove our growth,” Pioli replied.
“We have a target, and it’s an important one. We are focused on this. We’ll see what happens in the future. I repeat, this is not the right time to talk about the Super League.”

Milan won their first home game in two months last week against Genoa and host Sassuolo at the San Siro tomorrow.
"It's a different opponent from Genoa, Sassuolo prepare these games really well and we must be ready and up to the task," said Pioli.
"Both teams like to attack, so we'll have more spaces, but Sassuolo can create trouble for anyone.
"We have a few issues for tomorrow. Ibra, Theo, Calhanoglu and Bennacer have had a few problems to train, so we'll assess them tomorrow morning.
"Romagnoli is still not 100 per cent fit, but he will be soon. Mandzukic did well and made his presence felt [against Genoa]. He can't play for 90 minutes, but I count on him. He will help us."
How is Donnarumma feeling considering that he hasn't yet signed a contract extension?
"He is serene and concentrated. It can happen to make some mistakes sometimes but don't forget all the good things he's done this season."
