Real Madrid are one of the clubs that announced the Super League on Sunday with 11 more founding members, including Serie A’s Juventus, Inter and Milan.

Real Madrid and Super League President Florentino Perez explained the reasons behind the Super League last night and insisted UEFA can’t ban the Super League clubs from this season’s European competitions.

“We have not talked about a possible sanction in the Champions League for the Super League. Nothing, zero. We do not talk about that,” Zidane said.
