“We are not safe yet. This isn't scaremongering. It's realism,” noted Coach Pioli after climbing to 39 points with a win over Bologna.
“I think the threshold for feeling absolutely free from danger is 41 points. I told the lads to concentrate on Roma, as our campaign did not end last Sunday.

“We've got to take ourselves out of the relegation dogfight permanently. The sooner we do that, the better.”
The Giallorossi have stuttered in the last few weeks after an initial honeymoon period under debutant tactician Vincenzo Montella.
“Roma are a great squad,” continued Pioli. “In technical terms I think only Milan are superior and they are winning the title.
“Players of the quality of Francesco Totti, Mirko Vucinic, Jeremy Menez and Marco Borriello are second to none.
“On top of that, Roma's team spirit is fantastic and their possession play truly extraordinary. We'll have to run hard and fast, as we know the big teams don't like having to chase their opponents.”
