Inter star Romelu Lukaku joked with Sebastiano Esposito on Instagram following his loan move to Anderlecht: ‘Make my team win.’

The Azzurri starlet has moved to Belgium on loan with an option to buy and a buy-back option for the Serie A giants.

Lukaku is a product of Anderlecht’s academy and spent five years at the club before his first move to Chelsea in the summer of 2011.

The Belgian side announced Esposito’s signing on Monday, writing on social media that it was ‘approved’ by Lukaku.

“You are not beautiful,” Esposito replied, tagging the Belgian striker, who reacted promptly.

“Piece of s…make my team win,” wrote the Chelsea loanee, replying to his former teammate.

Esposito played with Lukaku at Inter in the first part of 2019-20 before a loan move to SPAL. He scored seven goals in 34 appearances at Basel in 2021-22.

Lukaku returned to Inter on a season-long deal following a disappointing season at Chelsea, were he had scored 15 goals in 44 appearances under Thomas Tuchel.
