Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek has refused to discuss his future, only that ‘I hope to play in the Champions League.’

Piatek ended a run of five goals without a goal on Sunday, his opener helping Milan beat Frosinone 2-0 to take their hopes of a top-four finish into the final day.

“I feel better, I scored and I’m happy, also because we won. That was the important thing,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“We’re only one point behind Inter and Atalanta so anything is possible, but first we must beat SPAL.

“We were hoping for a Juventus win, but it was only a draw. It’s a difficult time for us, but we hope to beat SPAL and that the other results go our way.

“We believe in qualification for the Champions League. It was hard to think that I’d have scored 30 goals in my first season coming from Poland.

“It was unthinkable. I’m not thinking about my future now, I’m just focused on the next game.

“I hope to play in the Champions League. That way, everything will be perfect.”
