Italian comedy programme Le Iene is helping Torino fans gather signatures outside the Derby della Mole to keep Max Allegri in the Juventus job.

It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT).

This is traditionally a rather one-sided derby, with Torino not winning since a 2-1 result in April 2015.

They’ve managed only four draws in the last 16 meetings with Juventus, between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

However, things have changed this season with a dismal Bianconeri start, so much that if Torino win today, they will leapfrog their neighbours in the Serie A table.

With that in mind, Juve fans are protesting against the players, President Andrea Agnelli and above all coach Allegri.

Italian comedy show Le Iene decided to join in by helping garner support for the beleaguered tactician, gathering signatures on a petition demanding that Allegri remain as coach of Juventus. They realised the best place to get those signatures was amongst Torino fans outside the stadium, who are thoroughly enjoying the current results of their more prestigious rivals.

They are countering the #AllegriOut hashtag with #AllegriResta – Allegri Stay.

  1. You have to feel for poor PhD Max. He asked for none of this. Agnelli came to the entrance of the cave and troubled the Allegrisaurus to come back. He disregarded the zombienaccio, let the yoga back back dictate terms and gambled wrong. That is what happens when you are addicted to a bygone system of 4-4-2 and cannot pivot. No big club in Europe plays that system anymore and they certainly do not put Tik Tok Weston on the left, Cuadrado as a left winger and even try Cafu as a right winger.
