The playmaker has been paired with the Old Lady by numerous sources, with the Gazzetta dello Sport claiming that a €3.5m co-ownership deal has been agreed.
Pescara, though, have wasted no time in dismissing the speculation about their 19-year-old central midfielder.
“There has never been any negotiation with Juventus,” Pescara sporting director Daniele Delli Carri told TMW.
“The only operation which has been discussed with the player is about a new contract for him.
“It is clear that there are a lot of clubs who are interested in Verratti, but the only sporting director who has been in touch with us is Walter Sabatini of Roma.
“We discussed Marco as a player, but we didn’t discuss money.
“I have an excellent relationship with Juventus, with Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici, but I haven’t discussed Verratti with them.”
The player made his Italian Under-21 international debut in the 1-1 draw with France on 28 February.
Pescara have also released a statement on their website dismissing the story in the Gazzetta dello Sport.
