Sulley Muntari believes Pescara have enough quality to be in the top-half of the Serie A table.

The Delfini have taken just 12 points from 29 League matches since their promotion from Serie B last season, with three of those handed to them due to Sassuolo fielding an ineligible player.

The Biancazzurri's form and League position suggest relegation is almost certain, but the veteran midfielder still thinks his side can retain their top-flight status

"It doesn't even feel like I am away with Pescara. It feels like I am here with Milan to play against Pescara," Muntari told Gazzetta dello Sport as he prepares to face his former club.

"It will be like playing against my brothers.

"Survival is still within reach and I am still confident. The fact is we are too good to be in this position. With our quality we could be in the top half."

Muntari believes that Pescara would be having a much better season had Zdenek Zeman, who replaced Massimo Oddo in February, been in charge from the start of it.

"Oddo did well, he is someone who never shouts and makes himself understood well. He will become a great Coach.

"Zeman is like a father – you just need to follow what he says, then everything becomes easy.

"Without taking anything away from Oddo, if he [Zeman] had been with us from the start we wouldn't be where we are."
