Diego Perotti feels Roma are “getting back on track” after their 2-0 win away to Udinese, the third on the trot in Serie A.

“We are slowly getting back on track the way we were in the first half of the season. We had let go a bit and that wasn’t right, but now we have some much tougher games,” Perotti told Mediaset Premium.

“It was fundamental we find our form before the Champions League resumed. Aside from Juventus and Napoli, everyone is dropping points, so we had to win this game before Shakhtar Donetsk.”

The deadlock was broken by Cengiz Under, with his fourth goal in three games.

“Cengiz Under is a humble lad, he doesn’t speak Italian well yet, but he’s very polite. He’s a formidable kid and deserves this success.

“It’s always nice for me to score a goal on a personal level and I am very happy.”
