Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs says the club ‘do not intend to sell’ Inter target Ivan Perisic.

The Nerazzurri have been heavily linked with the Croatian international, but have reportedly had a loan bid, and an exchange with Xherdan Shaqiri rejected.

“Ivan Perisic will not be part of any exchange,” Allofs said at the club’s pre-season training camp, as reported by rp-online.

“We don’t intend to sell him.”

The director’s words appear to confirm that the Beneamata will not be able to lower the price by including Shaqiri in any deal, with the German club thought to be holding out for €20m.

Wolfsburg Coach Dieter Hecking has previously admitted that a transfer may eventually happen, but warned Perisic won't come cheap.
