Sassuolo sporting director Giovanni Carnevali confirms Juventus ‘have an interest’ in Sime Vrsaljko.

The Croatian full-back was thought to be close to Napoli, but it emerged earlier today that the Bianconeri are also in the running.

“We’ll talk with Napoli in the next few days,” Carnevali told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“However, our intention is to keep the player for next season.

“As for Juve, we have a great relationship [with them], which connects us through other players. They have an interest, but we have to evaluate the possible deal, there are also foreign clubs who want the player.”

Vrsaljko’s agent has talked up the possibility of a move to Napoli, and Carnevali admits that’s only natural.

“That seems logical, they’re a great club. But nothing is certain yet.”
