Inter’s new signing Ivan Perisic says he’ll ‘do everything to beat Milan’ on Sunday as he prepares for his arrival in Italy.

The Croatia international signed for the Nerazzurri this summer after lengthy negotiations but is yet to arrive in the peninsula, as he is on international duty.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, the winger explained that he is starting to feel the grip of derby fever, although he suggests he isn’t expecting to walk into the team.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, the winger explained that he is starting to feel the grip of derby fever, although he suggests he isn’t expecting to walk into the team.

“There are still a few days to go – First let me arrive in Milan and work with my teammates,” he said.

“One thing for certain is that I’m beginning to understand and feel the importance of the match against Milan. We’ll do everything to beat them in a match this special.

“I still have to have my first training session with the team, there will be time to speak about tactics with the Coach. But above all I must earn a place by working hard during the week.”
