Pescara goalkeeper Mattia Perin has claimed that his future will be decided by parent club Genoa.

The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to Milan in the summer, but he has insisted that only the Grifone know where he will be playing next season.

The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to Milan in the summer, but he has insisted that only the Grifone know where he will be playing next season.

“My registration is with Genoa,” he told Studio Sport. “So they will decide what my future will be.

“I do not know anything about the Milan stories. I imagine they are just rumours.

“It's nice to have such an important club like that being linked with me, but I have so much growing to do as a goalkeeper.”

He also commented on his season so far with the Delfini, as well as his idols as a child.

“The defeat against Cagliari” data-scaytid=”7″>Cagliari [last weekend] hurt a lot. It was a major setback in our bid to stay up.

“We have only picked up one point in five games, but we have to stay as a group and believe we can do it.

“As a child I grew up with the rivalry between Toldo and Buffon, but I like to watch everyone and try to learn.

“I always dreamed of playing in Serie A and making the national team.”
