Udinese defender Gabriele Angella hasn't given up hope of reaching the Europa League places this season.

The Zebrette currently sit in ninth place in Serie A, seven points off of Inter in fifth.

And the 23-year-old has insisted that they still have a chance of gaining a European place come May, but admits that they have to improve on their recent results – starting next Monday against Napoli.

“We are lacking points,” he told Udinese Channel. “But if we up our game, who knows what will happen.

“We have to come out against Napoli and play a great game.

“They are a good team and we know it won't be easy against them. We usually produce our best performances against the better teams, and hopefully that will be the case.”
