The wonder strike has led to speculation about Peres’ future, with Claudio Gentile suggesting he will be on the radar of clubs both inside Italy and outwith the peninsula.
The player’s agent however, says his client will remain at Torino, at least in the short-term.
“We have no intention of leaving Torino, far less in January,” Bernardo Silva insisted to Calciomercato.
“Bruno must complete his journey with the Granata, and especially with Mr Ventura. Only when he’s done this will he be ready for a great team.
“Can he have a career like Cafu and Maicon? I really believe in him, and I think he can have the same success in Italy.
“His goal didn’t surprise me, because even at Santos he tried these incredible shots, they just didn’t go in.
“On Sunday it went in, and he did well in other respects too.”
