Fears are growing that Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini could be out for around two months with a foot injury.
Pellegrini requires surgery on a broken metatarsal, but Roma were not in a position to give a date for his return.
Now, Calciomercato.it and Il Tempo are both reporting that the 23-year-old risks 2-3 months on the sidelines.
The Italy international had started the season strongly with four assists but now may not be back until December time.
