Pietro Pellegri reveals he chose Monaco because Juventus “tend to send their youngsters on loan to play”.
The 16-year-old was heavily linked with the Old Lady, but instead left Genoa for Ligue 1 in January.
“Initially I was hesitant about the new experience,” Pellegri admitted, speaking to Sky.
“Everything came about in the last few days of the transfer window, very quickly. I can say right now that it’s proving to be a fantastic experience and my agent, Beppe Riso, made the right choice.

“We chose the best project for a youngster unlike, for example, Juventus who tend to send their youngsters on loan to play.
“Monaco offer a lot more space for a young player like me.”
