Pedri was still frustrated when thinking back to Barcelona’s controversial 1-0 loss to Inter in their Champions League clash earlier this week.

The 19-year-old Spanish midfielder had a good game against the Nerazzurri and he thought he’d scored the equaliser just after the hour mark following a quick move from the Blaugrana, before it was chalked off due to an apparent Ansu Fati handball in the build-up.

Barcelona were left furious after Denzel Dumfries seemed to commit a similar handball in the dying minutes of the match, a moment that has sparked controversy in the aftermath.

Speaking to Televisión Española, Pedri briefly reflected on the loss to Inter, saying how “everyone saw what happened.”

The Catalan side will be hoping for revenge at Camp Nou in their clash against Inter next week, which kicks off on Wednesday October 12. The winner of that match will have a strong shot of qualifying for the Round of 16 of the competition alongside group leaders Bayern Munich.

  1. Hey pedri, if the ref determined that the ball came off dumfries head first and then hit his hand, it’s not a handball .. learn the game .. VAR is for clear and obvious errors…if you need VAR to analyze it then VAR shouldn’t be used for that call
