Speaking whilst on international duty with the Brazil squad, the young striker was asked about rumours of a move away from Milan this summer.

Since a public outburst against Rossonero Coach Massimiliano Allegri at the turn of the year, the striker has been linked with a number of clubs. In particular, Paris Saint-Germain are keen and were on the verge of signing him in January, only for Milan President Silvio Berlusconi to veto the deal.

With the summer market approaching, the injury-plagued 22-year-old again encouraged the idea of leaving the Serie A runners-up.

“You never know what will happen in the future. I can only thank the clubs that have contacted my agent to inquire about purchasing me,” he told Brazilian site Terra.

“But, for now I’m only thinking about doing well on the pitch.

“I don’t know what will happen in the future, for now I want to only do my best on the field.”
