Alexandre Pato and Marek Jankulovski risk missing out on the Milan derby after test results on their injuries.

Both limped off during last night's 1-0 defeat at Palermo and today the club announced the medical examinations.

“Pato has a slight sprain to the left ankle and is expected to recover in around 10 days,” read a statement.

“Jankulovski sprained his left knee with a strain of both the medial collateral ligament and anterior cruciate ligament.

“There will be further evaluations over the next few days.”

It could well be the end of the season for Jankulovski, although he might be able to recover for the final games.

As for Pato, there is the real risk he could not be fit enough to start the Milan Derby on April 2.

He will have just under two weeks to work on physiotherapy, as there is a break for international duty.
