The agent of Alexandre Pato has opened the door for a move to Corinthians – although he insists no deal has been done with Milan.

Reports this week have suggested that the Brazilian outfit are ready to spend €15m on the injury-plagued striker.

Milan chief Adriano Galliani yesterday admitted that they had received a bid for the forward, but didn’t name the bidder or the size of the offer.

“If there is this possibility then it will be a very important step for his career to go and play for a two-time world champion club,” Gilmar Veloz told ESPN Brazil.

“To come and work here can make things easier for him. We hope that something can be done,” Veloz continued.

“We need to stay calm as we are talking about Milan and Corinthians – two of the biggest clubs in the world.

“There is great respect and affection between the two outfits, but there is nothing official at this stage.”

The 23-year-old, no goals in just four Serie A appearances this season, is contracted to the Diavolo until the summer of 2014.
