Inter are reportedly in advanced talks with Porto about signing Portuguese international defender Rolando.

According to Tuttosport, Valencia’s interest in the individual was cut short when Porto told them that they had already promised him to another club. That outfit is believed to be the Italian giants.

Rolando, 27, has rarely featured for his current club this season and a January switch is a possibility.

However, it is being claimed that the centre-back may be sent out on loan by Inter in the New Year before being recalled ahead of 2013-14.

Rolando is believed to have an asking price of around €10m.

Inter and Porto have completed transfer business in recent times following the Inter arrivals of Fredy Guarin and Alvaro Pereira.
