There are reports today the CTS (technical scientific committee) is ready to accept the so-called German model, where only an individual who tests positive for COVID-19 is quarantined, rather than the entire squad for 14 days.

“We’re going towards that system, it would be important to achieve this result so that we can finish the season in regular fashion,” Paratici told Rai Sport.

Dybala mentioned his contract renewal negotiations in an interview this week, suggesting they hadn’t really begun yet.

“We are not worried, as we started discussing the situation with Dybala and his entourage, so we are naturally confident. Every worker who goes to negotiate a contract wants an improvement, so that’s entirely logical.

“This is not the time to talk about the transfer market. It’s understandable when there is no football being played, but tonight we want to fully enjoy this moment when Italian football returns.”
