Emerson Palmieri admits “I can’t say I’m at 100 per cent”, but is ready to return for Roma if asked.
The Brazilian has been out since May with a cruciate ligament injury, but could feature against Spal on Friday if Coach Eusebio Di Francesco deems him ready.
“I can’t say I’m at 100 per cent,” the defender told Sky.
“I’m working every day to be back as soon as possible. The urge to play is there, it’s normal.

“It’s up to the boss to decide though, he sees me in training and he can see whether I’m ready or not, so the choice is up to him.
“We have a good squad, everyone feels like a starter. With a lot of games close together it’s important to have a big squad so we can fight for the league until the end.”
