Roma are plummeting down the table and President James Pallotta was reportedly “disgusted,” but Rudi Garcia remains.

The club continues to stand by its troubled tactician after last night’s 1-1 draw with Milan, which again saw the Giallorossi take the lead only to crumble in the second half.

They could end the weekend eight points adrift of the Serie A leaders and Scudetto hopes are vanishing fast.

Already out of the Coppa Italia and taking on a revitalised Real Madrid in the Champions League, things are looking bleak for the Lupi.

The Corriere dello Sport even claims President Pallotta told his directors he was “disgusted” by the performance against Milan.

The Coach in turn implied the fitness staff – who changed on the orders of the club this season – were to blame.

“I did not expect a second half like this from my team. We did badly tactically, because we were too stretched out, and physically, as we simply couldn’t run in the second half.”

Roma were seven points better off at this stage last season, but still the club resists pulling the trigger on Garcia.

There are several options to take over, above all Luciano Spalletti, while others include Walter Mazzarri, Marcello Lippi, Fabio Capello, Marcelo Bielsa and Jorge Sampaoli.
