Defender Gabriel Paletta introduces himself by saying ‘everyone must do their part’ to get Milan out of the current crisis.

The Italian oriundo's signing was formalised three days ago, and the player was presented today alongside fellow new signings Suso, Salvatore Bocchetti, Luca Antonelli and Mattia Destro.

Joining the Rossoneri, Paletta was openly pleased about meeting some old friends.

“I already knew some players like [Luca] Antonelli and [Cristian] Zaccardo,” said the player in his official introduction.

“I've been given a warm welcome by the whole group. Everyone must do their part to help the cause of the Rossoneri.

“We have to improve, I certainly have to learn the defensive movements that the Coach wants me to execute and on Saturday [when Milan play Juventus] we all want to do well.

“We certainly have great respect for Juventus, but we have a strong squad to face them appropriately.

“I was sorry to leave Parma, for the club, the supporters and the managers.”

Paletta has been compared to Daniel Passarella and Walter Samuel, but the defender denied having specific sources of inspiration.

“They are two great players. I don't think I have a model to follow. I learn from everyone, looking at everybody's positive side.”
