Federico Balzaretti has insisted that he will only consider two options for 2012-13 – Palermo or Paris Saint-Germain.

The left-back has been linked with sides such as Milan and Napoli, but the 30-year-old is adamant he won’t end up at either club.

“I’ve already spoken to the President and told him of my priorities,” he told the Corriere dello Sport. “I’ll either stay at Palermo or move to Paris Saint-Germain – there are no other solutions.”

Palermo are in talks to extend his contract, while PSG are an option as the player’s wife works as a ballerina in the French capital.

Balzaretti showcased his talents at Euro 2012 for Italy after the Azzurri reached the Final – before being beaten 4-0 by Spain.

“Coach Cesare Prandelli congratulated us for what we were able to do,” the former Torino man added. “He’s very proud of us.

“It is not easy to play against Spain. They can keep the ball easily and they started the game very well.

“Reaching the Final was an important achievement. Unfortunately, we were very tired by the time we got there after playing so many games within a short space of time.”
