Osvaldo is a controversial player who has had issues in the capital since his arrival from Espanyol in 2011.

Osvaldo was strongly criticised by fans for opting to take the penalty against Sampdoria, which he missed, despite the presence of Francesco Totti in the side.

Roma, however, will not sacrifice the player at all costs seeing as they believe he has a market value of €20m.
