Milan and Inter will welcome their new strikers Divock Origi and Romelu Lukaku this week, with both Belgium forwards expected to undergo their medicals in the coming days.

Origi will join the Serie A champions on a free transfer from Liverpool and will land in Italy today. Football Italia understands the ex-Reds star will have his medical with the Rossoneri on Tuesday.

Milan are not expected to sign a new centre-forward this summer as long as Ante Rebic stays. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will sign a one-year deal in the coming weeks and will be available again in the second part of the campaign.

Origi’s compatriot Lukaku will return to Inter ten months after his €113m transfer to Chelsea. Big Rom will complete a loan move to the Stadio Meazza and is expected to return to the black and blue half of Milan on Tuesday or Wednesday.

The 29-year-old scored 15 goals in 44 appearances under Thomas Tuchel in 2021-22 and has already landed in Italy, being in Sardinia to spend his holidays.
