Paris Saint-Germain have officially signed Fabian Ruiz from Napoli in a deal believed to be worth €21.5m plus bonuses.

The Ligue 1 side announced the transfer, as did the Partenopei, in formal statements this evening.

He put pen to paper on a five-year contract to June 2027.

Fabian Ruiz was in the final year of his contract with Napoli and had refused an extension, so had to be sold this summer.

The 26-year-old Spain international had been signed from Real Betis in July 2018 for €30m, a move prompted by then-coach Carlo Ancelotti and his son Davide.

He made 166 competitive appearances for Napoli, contributing 22 goals and 15 assists.
