Milan announce their second-choice goalkeeper Ciprian Tătărușanu has recovered from COVID and will return to training today.

The 35-year-old had tested positive on January 3, but had a negative swab test this morning.

“AC Milan announces that Ciprian Tătărușanu has tested negative for Covid-19. The player has recovered and will return to training with his teammates today,” the Rossoneri statement read.

Tatarusanu missed Milan’s first two games of the year and has nine appearances across all competitions this season.

The Rossoneri announced yesterday that Fikayo Tomori has also recovered from COVID. Davide Calabria and Alessio Romagnoli remain on the sidelines but are not injured and the Rossoneri have not confirmed that the duo has tested positive.
