Juventus announce Mattia Perin has recovered from COVID.

The Italy shot-stopper had a positive swab test on January 26, but has now recovered and will likely be available when the Bianconeri host Hellas Verona at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

“As per protocol, Mattia Perin has carried out the diagnostic test for the coronavirus-Covid 19,” Juventus statement read.

“The exam gave a negative result. The player has therefore recovered and will join the team for today’s training.”

Juventus defender Alex Sandro contracted the virus while on international duty earlier this week, so he is still in Brazil waiting to recover.
