After Djed Spence completed his move to Genoa, Tottenham Hotspur have also announced the purchase of Radu Dragusin in a reported €31m deal.

The negotiations for the centre-back had been going on for two months, as confirmed by the Romania international’s agent earlier today, and was clinched despite strong competition from Bayern Munich and Napoli.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the transfer is worth €25m in cash plus another €6m in various add-ons, with a contract that runs to June 2030.

Also included is the loan of Djed Spence to Genoa until the end of the season, a deal that has an option to buy for a rumoured €10m included in the paperwork.

Dragusin will turn 22 next month and has been in Italy since 2018 when he joined the Juventus youth academy.

There were loan experiences with Sampdoria and Salernitana before he moved to Genoa in 2022, making it permanent for €5.5m plus bonuses in July 2023.

It is reported that Juventus retained up to a 20 per cent cut of the sell-on fee, so should be receiving roughly €6m from this move.
