Villarreal have officially signed Cicinho from Roma, while Gergeley Rudolf moves from Genoa to Bari on loan.
It had already been reported yesterday that full-back Cicinho was close to the Spanish side and the transfer was confirmed this evening.
The Brazilian arrives at Villarreal on loan until the end of the season and will be presented at their El Madrigal stadium tomorrow.
It is a return to La Liga for Cicinho, who has also played for Real Madrid, while he and Giuseppe Rossi will face Napoli in the Europa League next month.
