Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta has revealed the club's intention to replace Fabio Quagliarella in the January transfer window.
Quagliarella suffered a season-ending knee injury exactly a week ago and the club feels it can't do without a top class second striker.
"For now we are thinking about qualifying for the next round of the Coppa Italia," Marotta said.
"It's our intention to find a substitute for Quagliarella. We'll look to take the opportunities that present themselves in the transfer market."

La Gazzetta dello Sport understands Atletico Madrid front man Diego Forlan is still in pole position, but Juventus have also been linked with a more realistic target in Udinese's Antonio Floro Flores.
Forlan is almost 32 and earns close to €4.5m a season, which would test Juventus' efforts to bring the club's wage bill down.
Earlier this week, reports claimed Marotta had offered to loan Forlan until the end of the season, inserting an option to buy the Uruguay international in June.
