Pescara Coach Massimo Oddo admits his side did not recover from Ledian Memushaj’s penalty miss against Lazio.

With the score goalless at Stadio Olimpico, the Delfini were awarded a penalty but the Albanian international miscued his effort horribly wide. Lazio went on to win 3-0.

“After the penalty we stopped, we didn’t turn up on the pitch,” Oddo lamented post-match.

“This match started badly and ended worse, maybe it was the emotion in the Olimpico.”

The former Milan player then revealed how opposite number Simone Inzaghi had changed his formation to counter Pescara.

“Inzaghi? He told me that he changed formation for the first time, to counter me. Maybe he just said that as a consolation.

“We missed the clearest chance, but there’s no need to beat ourselves up.”
