Antonio Cassano is confident that Inter will be able to replicate their away from at home to Fiorentina on Sunday.

The Nerazzurri have won all three League games on the road this term, but their San Siro encounters have ended in defeats to Roma and Siena.

“Now we’ll think about scoring a few goals at home,” the Italian noted after he netted in the 2-0 win at Chievo last night. “The chances have come but unfortunately we haven’t put them away.

“It’s not easy because everyone comes to San Siro to defend, but we’ll do it and on Sunday we’ll play a great match against the Viola.”

Cassano is the Beneamata’s top scorer in the League so far this term with three in five encounters for the outfit.

“My teammates have put me at ease,” the 30-year-old added. “This is a great squad and I feel good here.

“I’m leading the team in goals, but what matters is that my teammates give their all and even more – and I’m doing the same.”

Cassano joined Inter from Milan in the last week of the window after a swap deal was agreed with Giampaolo Pazzini.

“I have to thank boss Andrea Stramaccioni since he wanted me here. He was up front about that. I also have to thank President Massimo Moratti.”
