There are big question marks over the striker after the World Cup exit and even Milan CEO Barbara Berlusconi stated he was “not indispensable.”

Raiola went on Rai Sport 1 to discuss the situation and launched broadsides at the club, the Azzurri fans and the Federation that failed to protect him from excessive criticism.

“Criticism of Mario is normal, as it looks as if the Nazionale had only one player: Mario Balotelli,” said the representative.

“He was a gentleman. Everyone attacked him, nobody came to his defence, not even the Federation.

“I thought Balotelli was part of Italy, but evidently I was wrong.”

Arsenal and Monaco have repeatedly been linked with offers for Balotelli and Raiola confirmed there were problems at Milan.

“It is fundamental for Mario to play where they care for him and at Milan some do love him, some don’t.

“I think Barbara Berlusconi is right when she says nobody is off the market. Only Milan can sell Balotelli, as he has a contract with the Rossoneri.

“If they don’t want to keep him anymore, then they just need to call me into the offices and I’m ready to discuss it with them.

“Do you think there’s a stronger striker in Italy than Balotelli? Mario has a contract with Milan, the club called me and said he’s not for sale.

“A meeting with Arsene Wenger during the World Cup? No, I was not in Brazil and I did not meet Wenger.”
