The Premier League club had been in negotiations with Juventus for Quagliarella in a €10m transfer, but it’s reported the Italy international rejected the proposal.

According to reports in both Italy and England, Norwich City turned their attention towards Maxi Lopez instead.

The Argentine is owned by Catania, but spent recent seasons on loan at Milan and Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”22″>Sampdoria.

It’s rumoured Norwich have offered €4m to buy Maxi Lopez outright, which is approximately £3.5m.

There is also a three-term contract on the table for the 29-year-old.
