Inter director Ernesto Paolillo has dismissed suggestions that the club are in talks to sign Carlos Tevez.

The Nerazzurri have been strongly paired with the Manchester City striker as the club looks to strengthen over the summer.

"Despite what the newspapers write, there is no contact whatsoever for Tevez," Paolillo said to Radio CRC on Friday.

City boss Roberto Mancini this week claimed that Tevez told the Premiership outfit in January that he was hoping to play in Italy.

Tevez also fuelled links with the Nerazzurri after he recently spent some time in Milan while he was sidelined with injury.

Meanwhile, Sunderland have confirmed that Sulley Muntari will return to Inter in the summer after he joined the club on loan last January.
