Instrumental tests reportedly show no serious injury for Milan full-back Davide Calabria, who is aiming to recover in time for the match against Hellas Verona.

Sky Sport Italia reports the Italy international returned to Milanello and underwent instrumental tests after the muscle problem he suffered with the national team.

The tests showed fatigue to the adductor and have targeted a return already for the resumption of the championship after the international break.

Good news also arrive for striker Olivier Giroud, who trained with the rest of the group and scored in the friendly against the Primavera.

Milan continue with a home game against Verona at San Siro next weekend and feared they had to cope without Calabria against Igor Tudor’s men.

But the full-back underwent examinations upon his return to Milanello, which revealed a simple adductor fatigue and thus good news for the Rossoneri ahead of a busy month.

After the match against the Gialloblu, Milan play FC Porto in the Champions League three days later, before they travel to Bologna in Serie A on October 23.
